For lack of a better one-liner, I’m calling this first edition "Live Like a Bordeaux Chateau(x) Owner for a Weekend." The BEST wine trip for me was a visit to Stephen Bolger and Jean-Charles Cazes of VINIV, to experience what it is like to make my OWN barrel of Bordeaux. I visited the vineyards to experience the terroirs of the grapes, which ultimately transform into the base wines for the blends. I stayed in a luxe Relais & Chateaux hotel and was served Michelin-starred meals. I was invited on intimate, swoon-worthy wine tours and blending sessions, complete with perfect Instagrammable moments. I hung out with arguably the most bad@ss winemakers in the world, Daniel Llose and Nicholas Labenne.
