It’s a new year….
And we’ve got a few new releases to share, though not as many as usual. In most years we make 12 estate-grown, clone-specific varietal wines, but 2020 wasn’t most years. The fires in NorCal were a big deal, and a lot of the fruit suffered in the smoke. Since we won’t bottle anything that’s not up to snuff, this year’s release includes only four of the most fabulous wines. With so little to go around, you’ll want to get ‘em while you can.
Pink wine of another kind… this beauty is barrel aged to create a heady potion that offers luscious layers of strawberries and vanilla-laden lemon curd. The brilliance of it all is how the flavors cradle a distinctive backbone of mouth-watering acidity and structure for days.
We may be the only winery in Napa that offers a single-varietal bottling of this beautiful red, making it a wine that’s as rare as it is divine. It hits the palate with a burst of opulent fruit before showing its brighter, more delicately feminine physique. With lovely fruit and an epic mouthfeel, it’s a perfect pairing for just about anything you like to eat.
An absolutely fabulous example of just how good this undersung hero of a varietal can be. Juicy and elegant with layers of luscious, pure fruit expression, this vintage is chock full of black fruits, cacao and red-spiced notes with a crazy-long finish.
Completely swoon-worthy, this nectar is as sophisticated as it is sweet. Full of every kind of red and black fruit you can name, with a core of flavors that evoke chocolate-covered cherries, roasted nuts and toasted marshmallow. Beautifully balanced by plenty of pretty acid and structure for days. A perfect nightcap or aphrodisiac.
