Hey guys,

Joy and I can’t thank you enough for your help with this mod project appeal. It’s been incredible to see such an avalanche of petition signatures, letters, love, and support. We’re forever in your debt.

Here’s the latest: the County Board of Supervisors heard our appeal this week. So many people got up to speak on our behalf, Joy and I were both tearin’ up. The Board ultimately decided to have the Planning Commission take another look at our proposal, keeping in mind a bunch of issues they didn’t get into before – like whether they should be setting visitation limits based on number of cars instead of number of people. Looks like we might wind up being the test case for a whole new system.

We’re doing everything we can to get the visitation increase we need without bothering our neighbors, and we’ll keep ya posted on the next go-round. Thanks again for standing up for us when it really mattered.
