The holidays are just around the corner! I just wanted to take a moment and share what I plan to feature at the table in the coming weeks…
Lot 735 Santa Barbara Cabernet Sauvignon: Perhaps the best under-$20 Cab we’ve sourced all year, I picked this one up from one of the most highly rated producers in the region. It’s a fine example of why the critics are gushing about the quality of Santa Barbara wine more than ever these days.
Lot 775 Calistoga Cabernet Sauvignon: Showing classic Napa terroir and plenty of volcanic soil influence, this is complex and refined Cab from a fifth generation producer and one of the best fireside wines we’ve come across all year.
CAM Collection Russian River Chardonnay: A glass of liquid California gold, this archetypal RRV Chard from a blue chip estate picked up 90 pts and a Gold Medal from the most recent Sommeliers Choice Awards. An extremely versatile wine both as a solo sipper and a food pairing.
Lot 729 Russian River Pinot Noir: Excellent for both casual and special occasions, this is a super drinkable gem of a red wine that’s one of the most versatile offerings in the store. It also picked up 92 pts and a Gold Medal from the most recent Sommelier Challenge Awards to boot!
