Dear Friends,
Just thought I’d drop in and fill you in on some of the wines in our store that are drinking exceptionally well right now, and give you a glimpse into what your fellow wine lovers are scooping up the most!
Lot 606 2014 Rutherford Cabernet – What can I say that hasn’t been said already? With over a year of bottle aging now, it’s the #1 selling Napa Cabernet for us in 2017 by volume, has more customer reviews than any other Cab, and was awarded Gold Medals from multiple competitions to boot. Our transition to becoming an internet-only business has made additional quantities of this wine available to us online, so it’s a terrific alternative to Lot 616 (which is now completely sold out – I hope you got yours in time!).
Lot 549 2015 Eola-Amity Hills Chardonnay – Our #1 selling Chardonnay of the year thus far, and it’s easy to see why – it’s a world-class Chardonnay sourced from one of the most acclaimed producers in Oregon history, and dances the fine line between the best of the New and Old World. If you’re a fan of balance, finesse, and either Burgundian or California/Oregon Chards, I highly encourage you to give this one a shot. 92 pts & Gold Medal under our label, and even higher scores under its original label.
Lot 575 2014 Red Mountain Red Blend – Our #1 selling Red Blend of the year continues to please. This Cabernet-based blend is firing on all cylinders, delivering a dark, complex, focused, and integrated drinking experience that’s perfect as a solo sipper or meat pairing. With over a year in bottle, this wine is singing right now.
Lot 537 2015 Alexander Valley Old Vine Zinfandel – Our #1 selling Zinfandel of the year is ready for prime time this holiday season. Sourced from 60 year old estate vines and matured in 40% new American oak, this rich, food-friendly Zinfandel is a smooth, easy drinking wine that is sure to be a hit with every holiday dinner.
I know many of you are eagerly awaiting the deals coming next Friday, so stay tuned…
Cheers!
