Caldwell Vineyard-Rocket Science-Proprietary Red-Syrah-Cabernet Sauvignon-Merlot-Tannat-Petit Verdot-Napa Valley-California-2008-14.9% Alcohol-$39.98-A nose of dark fruit and spice, dark garnet in color.  A full bodied kitchen sink blend, with  blueberries, black currants, herbs and white pepper, finish of dusty chocolate and spice.   This is the fifth vintage I have tried, all have been very good, cool bottle design.          NR          CR-91          Good with steak, chicken, pasta.          One Cork Bonus.

Cameron Hughes Wine-Lot 487-Lodi Field Blend-Zinfandel-Syrah-Petite Sirah-Lodi-California-2012-13.9% Alcohol-$9.75-A nose of cherry and some spice, medium garnet in color.  A medium to full bodied red blend, with black cherry, raspberry,  some chocolate and spice on finish.  A very good QPR.          NR          CR-88          Good with meats, chicken, pasta.
