St Francis Winery & Vineyard-Pagani Vineyard-Old Vines Zinfandel-Sonoma Valley-California-2005-$35.00-A sour nose of dark fruit, dark purple in color.  St Francis makes some of my favorite Reserve Zins and this vineyard is usually consistent but I found the cherry, berry favor a too tart and sour, a disappointment.   They have a great tasting room and very pretty property.           NR         CR-3-3.5           Good with chicken, ribs, pasta.

Forth Vineyards-Histoire-Chapter 1-Cabernet Sauvignon-Mendocino-California-2006-$14.27-A nose of dark fruit, dark amber in color.  Blackberry, currants, chocolate and a little spice, a smooth easy drinking good value Cab.  Tried last year several times with same results.          WE-84           CR-4            Good with chicken, burgers, pasta.
