A nose of some dark fruits and spices, dark purple in color.  A medium to full bodied red blend with black cherry, very grapey, licorice and spices on finish.          WE-91 (Editors Choice)          CR-87         Good with meats, chicken, pasta.

Rocca Family Vineyards-Syrah-Cross Road Vineyard-Yountville-Napa Valley-California-2005-14.8% Alcohol-$23.25-A funky nose of a wine past its prime, dark garnet in color.  A medium to full bodied red, with blackberry, plum, some licorice on finish, had to let wine open to get rid of funk, but at least 3 years past it’s prime.          RP-89          WS-90          CR-87          Good with meats, chicken, pasta.
