Yates Family Vineyard-Sisters-Mt. Veeder-Napa Valley-California-2016-14.7% Alcohol-$68.00-A bit of funk on nose, muted dark fruit and some spice, dark garnet in color. A medium to full bodied red blend, not quite sure varieties but would guess Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and maybe Cabernet Franc.  Usually one of my favorite wines from this producer but something was off, not terrible just off compared with previous vintages, with blueberry, a finish of dust and spices.          NR          CR-88         Good with meats, chicken, pasta.    

Casa Vitivinicola Tinazzi S.R.L.-Ca’ de’ Rocchi-Montere-Corvina-Rondinella-Molinara-Valpolicellla Ripasso-Superiore-Italy-2014-14.0% Alcohol-$16.99-A nose of cherry and some spice, deep amber in color.  A medium to full bodied red, with black cherry, vanilla, spice on finish, a good QPR, very heavy bottle.          RP-89          WS-88          CR-89        Good with meats, chicken, pasta.
