Donatiello Winery-Pinot Noir-Russian River Valley-California-2006-$19.99-A nose of earth and dark fruit, medium dark amber in color.  A smooth, medium bodied Pinot, black cherry,  plum, with earth and spice, decent not great.                     WS-87                   WE-86                 CR-4               Good with chicken, cheeses, salads.

Peirano Estate Vineyards-The Heritage Collection-Cabernet Sauvignon-Lodi-California-2007-$11.99-A nose of dark fruit, a bit funky,  dark purple in color.    A medium to full bodied Cab, blackberry, blueberry,  with some herbs, average Cab.                    WE-82               CR-3-3.5          Good with burgers, chicken, pasta.
