Carol Shelton Wines-Maple Zin-Maple Vineyards-Old Vine Zinfandel-Dry Creek Valley-California-2005-$26.87-A nose of spice and cherry, dark amber in color.  A smooth full bodied Zin, black cherry, raspberry, red berries, with spice and a long finish.                WS-91               CR-91               Good with ribs, chicken, pasta.

Layer Cake Wines-Cabernet Sauvignon-California-2009-$10.99-A nose of dark fruit, dark amber in color.  A decent Cab, full bodied, blackberry, cassis, mocha, nothing complex, good QPR.          NR              CR-86                  Good with meats, chicken, pasta.
