Linne Calodo Cellars-Cherry Red-Zinfandel-Mourvedre-Syrah-Paso Robles-California-2007-$55.00-A nose of sweet dark fruit and spice, dark black purple in color.  A bold, full bodied Zin blend, with cherry jam, blueberry, black cherry, a spice box full of flavors with a very long finish, decant for a hour plus.  I am a big fan of the Linne Calodo blends, this was a standout.                RP-96                CR-95                  Good with ribs, chicken, pasta.

Samuel’s Gorge-Grenache-McLaren Vale-Australia-2006-$19.99-A nose of dark fruit and spice, dark black in color.  A full bodied but smooch red, was expecting less but for some reason got more, blueberry, cassis with black cherry and spice, with a good finish.                    RP-91                 WS-89                   CR-90                      Good with meats, chicken, pasta.
