Sequoia Grove Vineyards-Syrah-Stagecoach Vineyard-Napa Valley-California-2006-$27.51-A nose of dark fruit and spice, dark purple in color. A full bodied and dry Syrah, was disappointed due to the rep from this famous vineyard. With blackberry, blueberry, some spice, found it tannic, and not smooth, expected much more.              NR                    CR-85                    Good with meats, chicken, pasta.

DC Flynt MW Selections-Kirkland Signature (Costco)-Merlot-Columbia Valley-Washington State-2009-$8.99-A nose of cherry and spice, dark garnet in color.  A medium bodied, easy drinking Merlot.  With black cherry, chocolate and some spice, nothing complex but very good midweek QPR wine.                       NR                       CR-86                       Good with meats, chicken, pasta.
