Reilly’s Wines-Dry Land Shiraz-Claire Valley-Australia-2005-$9.99-A nose of bold dark fruit with heat, dark black in color.  A full bodied and bold Shiraz, with dark plum, black cherry, blueberry and bacon and spice.  Has layers of flavors but the heat of the 16.9% alcohol is there but the fruit is there also, a very good QPR.                   NR                     CR-89                     Good with ribs, chicken, pasta.

Pessagno Winery-Chardonnay-Sleepy Hollow Vineyard-Santa Lucia Highlands-California-2007-$24.99-A nose of citrus and spice, golden in color. A full bodied Chard, with pineapple, pear, some vanilla, lots of acidity, this was my last bottle of this vintage and much better than the last one I tried, more like the previous years that I enjoyed so much.               WE-93              CR-90              Good with seafood, cheeses, salads.
