A very smooth, enjoying easy drinking red, dark fruit, sweetness, chocolate with right amount of oak.  A nice surprise for what it delivers for the price.           NR          CR-4-4.5        Good with chicken, pasta, meats.

Peirano Estate Vineyards-The Other-Cabernet Sauvignon-Merlot-Syrah-Lodi-California-2007-$8.00-A good nose of dark fruit, dark ruby color.  A pleasant drinking blend, dark cherry, chocolate, a little spice.  A great value with an interesting label.          NR       CR-3.5-4       Good with burgers, pasta, chicken.

Thumbprint Wine Cellars-Climax-Red Wine-Dry Creek Valley-Healdsburg-California-2006-$24.99-A nice nose of dark fruit and spice.  Deep dark purple color.  A good blend, big wine, dark berry, cocoa, cherry and right amount of oak.  Visited Thumbprint a few years ago, their tasting room is in the heart of Healdsburg which is one of the coolest cities in wine country.  Neat labels.       NR    CR-4-4.5     Good with meats, chicken, pasta.
