The 2018 Devil Proof Release

An Exclusive Offering for our Aperture Members

As a loyal Aperture Cellars member, we want to extend an allocation to some of the most limited offerings from winemaker Jesse Katz. The annual Devil Proof release includes two distinct single-vineyard malbecs from the remarkable 2018 vintage and opens next Tuesday, November 10th. We invite you to join the offering and this exclusive member list.

It is with great excitement that we look forward to sharing the Devil Proof Farrow Ranch, from Alexander Valley and the Devil Proof Rockpile Ridge from the Rockpile AVA, with you soon. Raved about as "Hands down the best malbec I have ever tasted" by Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate and declared, "This is malbec at its sexiest and most opulent" by Jeb Dunnuck, these wines are limited in nature and showcase one of the greatest vintages in recent history.

Your Release Details

Your allocation opens on Tuesday, November 10th at 12:00 am PT and you will receive an email providing access to your allocation that morning. The release will close at the end of the day on Tuesday, November 24th, unless the wines sell out prior to this date.

The Devil Proof wines are offered in custom three or six bottle boxes only. You will have the opportunity to request additional sets through our wish list feature during the release. We will grant as many wish requests as possible, on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Your wines will begin shipping the week of December 1st. If you would like to receive your wines before the Thanksgiving holiday, or if you have special shipping requests or requirements, please reach out to us directly.

We will be offering one pick-up day on Saturday, December 5th, between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at the new estate property, 12291 Old Redwood Hwy in Healdsburg, CA. Please choose the "pick-up" option when checking out if you would like to pick up your wines on this date. Wines that are not picked up on this date will be shipped and the shipping charges will be added to your account.
