The New Jersey Food & Wine Festival at Crystal Springs Resort is a celebration of the world’s best wines and top local chefs. The weekend’s events are designed to allow connoisseurs to meet and mingle with chefs, winemakers, sommeliers and fellow wine aficionados. The events will include a grand tasting, exclusive dinners with vertical wine pairings, seminars with winemakers and chefs.

Friday 3/11/11
8pm-11pm Top Chefs & Top Wines Dinner –$125* – Six courses prepared by six different chefs, paired with boutique wines featured at the Festival. Top Chef Season 7 winner Kevin Sbraga will preview a course from his upcoming restaurant. He’ll be joined by Angelo Sosa (Top Chef All-Stars), Thomas Ciszak of Chakra, Marc Aumont of NYC’s The Modern, Humberto Campos Jr. of Restaurant Lorena and Chef Michael Weisshaupt of Crystal Springs Resort. During dinner, guests may purchase raffle tickets with proceeds benefiting our charity partner Share Our Strength whose mission is to end childhood hunger in America. Raffle will take place during the Grand Tasting.
8pm-11pm Château d’Yquem Wine Cellar Dinner – $275* – With a menu designed by Marc Forgione the newest Iron Chef, experience this unique 6-course wine pairing with vintages from the world-renowned wine house, Chateau D’Yquem. This is a rare and luxurious experience for the true food & wine aficionado.

11am-12pm New World Wine Seminar –-$40– Taste through some of the up-and-coming wineries from New Zealand and South America that are leading the way in winemaking including Craggy Range, Wild Rock, Bodegas Roda, and Bodega Chacra
12pm-1pm Taste of Italy Seminar -– $40 — Lead by Antinori Wine Estates Global Ambassador, Aldo Rafanelli, taste through the portfolio of the award-winning wine house and enjoy Italian meats & cheeses from Springs Bistro Chef David Koromi.
12pm-3pm Marketplace Lunch –$30– Enjoy a wide selection of Artisanal breads, local produce, seafood and antipasto alongside NJ wineries.
2pm-3pm The French Bistro –$40– Get a taste of the French life with wines from Maison Louis Jadot and pates & charcuteries from award-winning gourmet Les Trois Petits Cochons.
3pm-4pm Discovering Rare Boutique and Cult Wines -–$75– Get an in-depth look at highly-rated boutique and cult wines from around the world, including Sinatra Family Estates Cabernet Sauvignon 2007, Staglin Family Estates 2006, Marcel Deiss Pinot Blanc Bergheim 2009, Oreno 2007, Yarden El Rom 2006, Pascual Toso 2005 and DeLeon Anejo Tequlia.
4pm-5pm Food Meets Mixology -–$40– Join Chef Francesco Palmieri of The Orange Squirrel and Belvedere Vodka’s Global Mixologist Ali Dedenko as she introduces you to an exciting way of pairing food with crafty cocktails.
5pm-6pm Single Malts & Cigars –$35– Kick back with Macallan’s Single Malt Ambassador as he takes you through the legendary distillery’s rare marques and enjoy a hand rolled cigar.
7pm-10pm Grand Tasting – $95 – Bigger & better! Newly expanded throughout the entire clubhouse! More than 20 top chefs from NY & NJ serve sumptuous tastings alongside celebrated wines from more than thirty wineries. Top Chef Contestants Ariane Duarte of CulinArian and Ed Cotton of Plein Sud will be joining chefs from the best restaurants in NY & NJ including Restaurant Blue, Restaurant Latour, Zylo Restaurant, Crystal Tavern, Copeland Restaurant, Pluckemin Inn, Ho-Ho-Kus Inn & Tavern, Springs Bistro, Tribeca Grill, The Orange Squirrel, Restaurant Serenade, Oceana Restaurant and Boulevard Five 72. Live music by the 32 piece David Aaron Orchestra. An unforgettable culinary gala event! Share or Strength Charity Raffle will take place during the Grand Tasting.
10pm-1am Meet The Chefs & Winemakers After Party -– $100– After you’ve tasted your way through the wines at the Grand Tasting it’s time to party the night away with the chefs and winemakers in the Grand Rotunda including open bar and late night snacks!
Sunday 3/13/11
11am-2pm Champagne Brunch at Restaurant Latour –-$50– Traditional French brunch featuring a selection of bubbly including top champagne houses, Moët & Chandon and Dom Perignon.
