OREGON WINE FLIGHT TO NEW YORK CITY
TASTE THE WILLAMETTE VALLEY!
Meet the faces behind Willamette Valley’s special wines as fifty winemakers travel to New York to showcase their wines in a personal and vibrant setting at City Winery. This is the first major East Coast tasting event for Willamette Valley and you should not miss out on this evening of great wines! Taste some of the Valley’s finest wines from small, large, new and established wineries as well as food supplied by the Oregon Dungeness Crab Commission and other Oregon producers.

We also have a daytime luncheon for 60 people in the winery. Ticket holders will be treated to a 3-course lunch as 4 winemakers from Willamette discuss the 2008 vintage in depth. This Pinot Noir focused panel will be moderated by the winemaking pioneer David Adelsheim, owner of Adelshiem wines. Includes wines, panel and luncheon.

CITY WINERY WINE SCHOOL – WINE 101
Join our award-winning winemaker, David Lecomte for a City Winery wine boot camp. This 5-part course is perfect for budding winemakers, interested novices and everyone in between who wants to learn from a master winemaker. A mixture of technical and casual, each class will cover a range of topics from fermentation to fertilizer, grapes to glass, bottles to barrels. Held on the first Monday of the month from January until May in our Cellar Dining Room. Includes wine, dinner and classroom materials.

Join sommelier and wine educator Joshua Zisholz for a City Winery exclusive! A 5-part course that takes the most famous grape varieties from Europe and contrasts and compares how stylistically different they are when compared with their New World counterparts. Explore Bordeaux, Burgundy, California and Chile on this world tour. This class is a fun, informative and casual way to spend a Friday night in the company of like-minded wine fans. Held on the last Friday of the month from January until May in our Cellar Dining Room. Includes education classes, wine and dinner.
