Hi there Wine Club!!

We hope everyone is having a sweet ’16 so far. Things are going great over here at Lava Vine. We are are happy to announce our very exciting new partnership with Von Strasser Winery. Von Strasser has been in Napa Valley since 1990. Their mission has always been to create the finest Diamond Mountain District wines. Check out owner Rudy Von Strasser’s story here .
Lava Vine is still the same old Lava Vine. Same awesome wine & vineyards. Still haven’t changed our banjo strings. The new relationship with Von Strasser gives us a few new sources for Lava’s ever-evolving wine list.
In the near future we will be producing a Pinot Noir from Santa Lucia Highlands, as well as a Malbec and a Grüner Veltliner from Diamond Mountain (Von Strasser was the first commercial producer of Grüner Veltliner grown here in California).
One small huge difference is now our shipping costs have gone way down — so definitely give us a buzz if you want to replace any bottles that may have been opened over the holidays.
