Third Time’s a Charm!

OMG – three GREAT vintages in a row. As the old adage says, the third one is often the best. And so it is with the 2012, 2013, and 2014 vintages.

The 2014s are FREAKIN’ STUNNING.

I mean seriously, crazy good! They’re really rich and wonderfully concentrated, and loaded with all that super tasty Loring goodness that we’re known for. Easily the best vintage since 2009, and maybe even better than that. We’re super pumped about these wines. Wow! Did I say they’re awesome? WooHoo!!

AVA Pinot Futures Release: Available Now!

Russian River Valley, Santa Lucia Highlands, Sta. Rita Hills

The Russian River Valley Pinot will once again be dominated by Keefer Ranch Vineyard, which will bring its signature cherry profile to the wine. Bright, fresh, and remarkably pure, this wine will be the most elegant of the 3 AVA wines. But remember, that’s relative to our style, as all 3 will be deep, rich, delicious wines.

The Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot will be equal parts Rosella’s and Garys’ Vineyards, so expect to be blown away with super rich, almost flamboyant fruit. Extra yummy and plush, this wine will be sure to be a big hit.

The Sta. Rita Hills Pinot might be the best of the three – with depth and concentration almost the equal to any of the single vineyard designated Pinots. Crazy complexity and killer flavors tending to black fruits, this may be the best AVA wine we’ve ever made. Just stupid good!!

Once again, we’ve decided to hold the line on the Futures Pricing for you, our most valued customers. The after futures and tasting room price will be increased this year to $36 a bottle, but you can get these wines now for the same price as last year:

Note 1: These wines won’t ship until sometime in Nov-Dec (weather permitting). That’s one of the reasons we offer them at such a great price.

Note 2: We’ll be offering these wines in pre-defined sets. Since that’s another way for us to be able to offer the discounts, we can’t allow substitutions or modifications. We’ll try to give you as many options as possible while still keeping it streamlined and cost effective for us.
