As we reach out to you today, we hope that you and your families are safe and healthy. At a time when we are being advised to isolate ourselves from others, we crave a sense of community more than ever.
We feel that one of the best things about Sonoma County is the community we have here. In an effort to help slow the spread, we are collectively staying home and hope you are finding fulfilling ways to pass the time like we are!
While the world has shifted into uncertain times, we are taking the opportunity to spend time with our families, garden, take nature walks, get creative in the kitchen and strategize some fun winery projects to come later this year.
In the vineyard, we are finishing up pruning, mowing each row and monitoring frost each early morning. We have been seeing bud break in our vineyards for a couple of weeks now, and are enthusiastic about the start to the 2020 vintage.
In the winery, our team is regularly stirring the lees in the white wines. We are topping off barrels, and the wines we bottled in late February are still settling during the bottle aging stage.
