This new year sure started out with some welcome news! We have been named a “2018 Winery of the Year” by the prestigious American Fine Wine Competition. The founders of the AFWC are honoring Biale for not just all the gold and double gold medals we have been awarded over the years, but also for our work to preserve some California wine history. It’s a very nice honor to be recognized for leading the charge of Zinfandel and Petite Sirah, but you, as a member of the Black Chicken Society, with (eh-hem) impeccable taste in wine, already knew that!
The upcoming 2016 wines we are releasing this year from these very rare and special vineyards are just about our best efforts ever. Deeply flavorful, plush and elegant they are all winners across the board! If you like Biale, you’re going to absolutely love these!
Following a seeming disaster-filled 2017, we are all especially appreciative for all we hold dear. It was pretty scary for a while, but our winery, wines, and vineyards were unaffected by the wine country fires – thank you for your concerns! The valley has bounced back quickly and you would be surprised how green and beautiful it is!
We would love to have you visit. We are offering added visiting experience options, but nothing really beats just plain sipping great Zinfandel with a panoramic view of the Napa Valley. For shipping members, we recommend signing up for UPS My Choice or FedEx Delivery Manager, ship to a business address, or have it held for pick up at your local UPS/FedEx location. This will ease the pressure of pinpointing when to be home for deliveries, but it is not mandatory.
