"The 2014 Pinot Gris Arbre Vert, which did not undergo any malolactic and aged in 50% oak and 50% stainless steel, has very fine intensity on the nose with clear honey and quince aromas, almost like a Sauternes! That is not the case on the palate, with its crisp grassy entry, racy acidity and a dab of lemongrass toward the finish. This is a fine, aromatic Pinot Gris."

"This wine is a unique blend that we came up with, 50% Chardonnay from the Rosella’s Vineyard in the Santa Lucia Highlands and 50% Chardonnay from Jim Pratt’s Irwin Lane Vineyard in the Russian River Valley. How, and why, did we come up with such a wine? It was, quite frankly, nothing that we had planned on. But, as we were tasting our Chardonnays from the barrel, it came to us that the best wine might actually be a blend of these two sites. The 50/50 Chardonnay shows the best characteristics of both sites with a tropical fruit flavor profile along with hints of vanilla and crisp acid." — Adam Lee

"Fermented with 15% whole clusters (the vintage had tiny berries and Adam said even this small percentage yielded more stems than berries), the 2013 Pinot Noir Cargasacchi Vineyard offers soaring notes of stems, spice, underbrush, flowers and juicy berry fruit in a forward, sexy and fruit-filled style. Called a ‘love it or hate it’ style by Adam, it seemed classic Pinot Noir with stem influence to me. I’d happily drink it anytime over the coming 4-6 years."

"A bigger, richer wine that doesn’t quite have the vibrancy of the other single vineyards, the 2012 Pinot Noir Sierra Mar Vineyard, from vines planted in 2007, offers up a rich, weighty feel in the mouth, with plenty of darker berry fruit, lavender, licorice, and wood-spice emerging from the glass. Showing a darker-fruited style, with notions of wood smoke, damp earth and wild herbs, the 2012 Pinot Noir Sierra Mar Vineyard is medium-bodied, seamless and elegant. Developing more spice and toasty notes with air, drink it over the coming 4-5 years."
