 Sine Qua Non Update

Dear Wine Lover~
It is always, always, always exciting when new wines are to be released and offered up. Finally, the treats we have worked on for years get out there into the world and into the glasses of many delightful and deeply appreciated folks.
But there is always one downright hideous aspect to the whole thing as well. It is "hideous" because it is opposite from what we would like to do and it is meant as a service of sorts, as a way to stay connected and keep you informed and in the know. But it isn’t always interpreted like that. And that is just plain awful. In the end we are farmers and as such we get a certain amount of fruit each year, make wine from it – hopefully delicious wine – and then we have to divide that up as good as we can. Never, ever easy, but obviously a must. At some point that well runs dry and then we should – and do – inform everyone else that we are empty.
So please understand that is with hesitance and sadness, but ultimately with respect and gratefulness that we want to let you know about the wines that will hit the streets this coming Spring. They are being offered to our mailing list right now and they are …
The 2016 Syrah called Cypher 16 and our beloved 2016 Grenache Dirt Vernacular.
That vintage was particularly kind and generous to us – at least in terms of quality – and so if you can find these at a favorite restaurant or rare retail store, perhaps you want to give them a try. Naturally if or whatever reason some of these remain unsold at the end of this offering cycle, we will send an invitation to those patient and beloved wine lovers on our waiting list. It happens in chronological order and we certainly hope it means YOU.
Please allow us to send a THANK YOU very much for your hopefully continued interest, for your sensational patience and understanding, for allowing us to communicate with you and for hopefully joining the SQN "family" soon, soon, soon.

We adore you and can’t tell you just how appreciative we are,
Elaine & Manfred Krankl
