Understanding the Great Wine Regions of France
A Series of Three Classes: Fridays at 7:00 This Spring
March 18: Burgundy
March 25: Bordeaux
April 1: The Rhone
$175 all inclusive for 3 sessions
Individual session $65

An introduction to the wines of France, seen through the lens of it’s three greatest wine making regions. Looking at the distinctive history, traditions, commerce, regulatuions of each region, we’ll discuss, taste and learn a greater appreciation for some of the world’s finest wines.
Classes will be led by Jim Mullen, for the past 6 years, General Manager and Wine Director of the Frog. Jim has been working with wine since the 1980’s; thirteen years at Montarchet, the acclaimed Tribecca wine destination; Wine Director for the Morrel Wine Bar at Rockefeller Center; currently serving on the tasting panel of Wine and Spirits Magazine.

BYOB Wine Dinner
Friday, April 8, 7:00 pm
$120 per person all inclusive
We make the menu, you bring the wine to match and share with your neighbors. Orchestared by Jim and Claude Dufresne, we will be posting the menu shortly, with broad recommendations for pairing with each course. Have some great bottles that you’ve been saving but can’t decide when to drink? A great opportunity to dip into your cellar and share that special wine with other oenophiles who will appreciate it as much as you do.
Each guest brings one bottle. When the attendee list is confirmed, we will contact you to coordinate our wine line-up to make sure we have the right variety of wine styles for the menu
