CORKSCREWS REVIEWS

One from each side of the pond:

France-Chateau Valcombe-Paul Jeune-Cotes Du Ventoux-2004-$11.25.-  I really have begun to

enjoy wines from France’s Southern Rhone area. If you can still find this (have purchase recently), its

worth it, but probably is at its peak.  Wine is smooth, light spiced fruit.  Can be enjoyed with or

without food.  WS-85  CR-3.5   Good with chicken, pasta.

California-Louis M. Martini-Napa Valley Reserve=Cabernet Sauvugnon-2005-$18.35- Big but

smooth red. Briary red fruit that linger with a long finish. I really like a big wine as long as its polished,

this is.  Good now, sure it would be good a few years from now also.  RP-89  WS-85  CR-4.5  Great

with steak, burgers, chicken, pasta.
