Linne Calodo Cellars-Slacker-Syrah-Grenache-Mourvedre-Paso Robles-California-2006-$42.00-A nose of black cherry and spice, dark, almost black in color.  A full bodied but smooth Rhone styled blend, cassis, mineral tones, delicious, decant some for best results.    If you are ever in the central coast area this winery is a much stop.       RP-90               CR-4.5               Good with meats, chicken, pasta.

Arnot-Roberts-Bugay Vineyard-Cabernet Sauvignon-Sonoma County-California-2007-$80.00-A nose of dark fruit and some smoke, a bit closed, still young, dark ruby in color.  A full bodied Cab, still early to drink, black cherry, currants, solid wine, give it a few years.             NR             CR-4-4.5              Good with steak, chicken, ribs.
