Cruising with Master Chef Jacques Pepin
Jacques Pepin, Oceania’s Executive Culinary Director, will be traveling with us on this cruise! He has graciously accepted ZAP’s invitation to join us for a glass of Zinfandel and you’re invited too!

Announcing Our First Shore Excursion
Classically French Food & Wine, with Executive Chef from Chez Panisse (Bordeaux, France)
We’ll leave from the docks in downtown Bordeaux in the morning on our way to Médoc, one of the most famous appellations of the area. We shall be welcome to Chateau Dauzac (cru classé in Margaux) by Christine Bazin de Caix who is part of the Lurton family and runs the property. After a short visit of the winery, we will sit down for a sumptuous lunch, prepared by Jean Pierre Moullé, head chef at the word known restaurant Chez Panisse in Berkeley, California. The meal will focus on local and seasonal ingredients and will be paired with the Lurton wines. After lunch, we will stop in front of Chateau Margaux for a few minutes (no visit), to enjoy the beautiful building of the 18th century, and then we will head for Chateau Brane-Cantenac where we will enjoy a private visit of the property. Return to Bordeaux at the end of the afternoon, where you will be able to enjoy the charms and beauties of that magnificent city.
