Please join us in welcoming Mark Wentworth of Wentworth Vineyards and Ranch for his first visit to the Princeton Corkscrew Wine Shop!
Wentworth Vineyards and Ranch was founded by Mark Wentworth and his wife, Katie, in Mendocino County. Both are from New Jersey, though they met in Boonville while Mark was working in the wine business and Katie as a pastry chef; they connected over their shared love of food, wine and nature. Mark and Katie have two estate vineyards in Mendocino that are among the westernmost in the continental U.S.: the Nash Mill Vineyard nestled in the Deep End of Anderson Valley, and the Wentworth Estate Vineyard high on the Mendocino Ridge. Both vineyards are farmed organically with biodynamic practices and are planted to different clones of Pinot Noir along with Chardonnay and Grüner Veltliner. These vines benefit from their proximity to the Pacific Ocean and create elegant, terroir-driven cool-climate wines.
Please mark the date on you calendars and join us on April 29, 2023 as we welcome one of Mendocino’s rising stars for — FINALLY! — another fantastic Saturday afternoon tasting. We will be showcasing three wines from Wentworth’s stellar lineup, so be sure to tell your friends about this not-to-be-missed event. Mark will be on hand all afternoon to answer your questions and guide you through his wines during what is certain to be an amazing Corkscrew tasting.

Our shop is kept at 58°, year-round, to ensure the wine is fresh and vibrant at your table. Whether the wine costs $8 or $80, we believe it is our responsibility to provide our customers the best opportunity to experience each winemaker’s vision and process, just as if you were tasting these wines at the estate itself.
