Jeb Dunnuck On The 2019 Clarice Pinot Noirs…"The Finest Wine I’ve Ever Tasted From Adam…"

I am so thrilled to introduce the 2019 Clarice Wine Company Pinot Noirs. I’ve been cautiously thrilled as I’ve watched the 2019s mature in bottle. Over the last few months, as I’ve tasted these wines, I’ve thought, "maybe, just maybe, they are even better than the 2018 Pinot Noirs." On Wednesday, I learned that I am not the only one that feels that way. Wine writer Jeb Dunnuck has just released his ratings and reviews on the 2019 Clarice Pinot Noirs and they are fantastic!
97 Points          2019 Clarice Wine Company Rosella’s Vineyard Pinot Noir
"The finest wine I’ve ever tasted from Adam is the 2019 Pinot Noir Rosella’s Vineyard. Offering a full-bodied, clean, wonderfully textured, and flawlessly balanced profile, it reveals a pretty, nuanced bouquet of assorted red and black fruits, sassafras, and violets. Certainly my favorite of the trio in 2019, this brilliant Pinot Noir can be enjoyed any time over the coming decade, if not longer."
96+ Points          2019 Clarice Wine Company Garys’ Vineyard Pinot Noir
"I loved the 2019 Pinot Noir Garys’ Vineyard. It’s a rich, backward, relatively closed wine that’s going to blossom with another 2-3 years of bottle age. Giving up Gevrey-Chambertin like notes of smoked black fruits, pomegranate, violets, spiced meats, iron, and leafy herbs, it’s medium to full-bodied and has a beautiful mid-palate, building tannins, and a solid spine of acidity. It has plenty of ripeness and is certainly a California Pinot Noir, with beautiful fruit and purity. It needs a healthy decant if drinking any time soon, and it’s going to hit prime time in another 2-4 years and have a solid decade of prime drinking. It’s a gorgeous wine."
95 Points    2019 Clarice Wine Company Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir
"Gorgeous stuff, the 2019 Pinot Noir Santa Lucia Highlands was bottled in August of 2019 and saw two-thirds stems and aging in roughly 40% new French oak. It reminds me of the 2018 yet has a touch more mid-palate and richness. Red and blue fruits, spice, peppery herbs, and floral notes all define the nose, and it’s medium to full-bodied, with a layered, seamless texture, plenty of tannins, and a great finish. It’s already perfumed and complex yet should evolve for a solid decade."
