News about Port
PORT AS A PRE-DINNER COCKTAIL
The food and beverage industry is constantly changing and so are people’s palettes. The spiked seltzer’s that have recently entered the market are changing the game here in America, and Taylor Fladgate is standing on par with these changes in part with innovations to their own port. Siroco, a dry white port and Croft Pink, a rose’ style port can both be served over ice or mixed up in a cocktail. Looking for something new this winter, try these ports as an aperitvo this holiday season. For more on how to mix these ports up, click the link below.
History of Port
THE HISTORY OF PORT WIINE
Taylor Fladgate’s long-standing relationship with Port, has such a rich history and culture. Produced in the Douro Valley, which is one of the oldest wine regions in the world, vines have grown for almost 2,000 years in this area. Due to the soil and climate in this region, Port is very distinct because only in certain areas is it called “port.” To learn more about where Port comes from and its history, check this video out here!
