Wente Vineyards-Louis Mel-Sauvignon Blanc-Livermore Valley-San Francisco Bay-California-2009-$10.99-A crisp nose of citrus, light yellow straw in color. A medium bodied refreshing white, crisp citrus, pear, pineapple, good mouth feel and finish. A very good value. NR CR-4-4.5 Good with seafood, cheeses, salads.
Bodega Renacer-Punto Final-Reserva-Malbec-Argentina-2006-$13.99-A nose of dark fruit and spice, dark purple in color. Black cherry, plum, fig, licorice, found it a bit disjointed, for me not as good as the 2005. RP-92 WS-91 CR-3.5-4 Good with ribs, chicken, pasta.

Cliff Lede Vineyards-Stags Leap District-Cabernet Sauvignon-Napa Valley-California-2006-$25.00-A nose of dark fruits, dark ruby in color. A smooth, more medium bodied than most Cabs, black currants, coffee, some veggies, a solid Cab. RP-91 WS-92 CR-4-4.5 Good with steak, chicken, pasta.
Bodegas Escorihuela Gascon-Reserva-Malbec-Mendoza-Argentina-2008-$17.33-A nose of dark fruits and spice, blackish purple in color. A full bodied intense red, plum, blackberry, black cherry, chocolate and brown spice, a very good value. NR- CR-4-4.5 Good with meats, chicken, pasta.

La Crema-Chardonnay-Sonoma County-California-2007-$18.99-A nose of citrus and spice, medium yellow in color. Full bodied, smooth, honey, lemon, rich, smoky, a good Chard, consistent year after year. RP-90 WE-87 CR-4-4.5 Good with chicken, seafood, cheeses.
Bodega Norton-Reserva-Malbec-Mendoza-Argentina-2006-$15.99-A nose of plum and spice, dark amber in color. A smooth, full bodied red, plum, fig, spice, vanilla and is well balanced, a good value that has been consistent for the last couple years. WS-90 RP-89 WE-89 CR-4-4.5 Good with meats, chicken, pasta.

Chad Wine Company-Chad-Pinot Noir-Sarmento Vineyard-Santa Lucia Highlands-California-2008-$18.00-A nose of cherry and spice, light to medium amber in color. A smooth, easy drinking Pinot, cherries, strawberry, Asian spice, drinks like a $30 wine. NR CR-4-4.5 Good with seafood, chicken, salads.
Bodegas Nieto Senetiner-Cadus-Single Vineyard-Cabernet Sauvignon-Mendoza-Argentina-2003-$22.22-A nose of dark fruit and some oak, dark purple in color. A smooth, full bodied Cab, black currants, blackberry, spice cake and molasses flavors, with a nice finish. WE-90 WS-89 CR-4-4.5 Good with steak, chicken, pasta.

The Other Guys-Leese-Fitch-Chardonnay-Napa-California-2007-$9.96-A bright nose of psice and citrus, golden yellow in color. A medium to full bodied Chard, lemon zest, citrus, good acidity and a good mouth feel, a very good value for the price. Notice new closure called a Zork, which will allow a opened bottle to on paper last a week when resealed. NR CR-4 Good with seafood, chicken and salad.
La Posta-Del Vinatero-Cocina-Malbec-Mendoza-Argentina-2008-$14.98-A nose of dark fruit and spice, dark purple in color. Black cherry, spice, black berries, licorice, good body, smooth, a good Malbec. RP-89 WS-87 CR-4 Good with steak, chicken, pasta.

Bodega Monteviejo-Altitude 1050-Malbec-Mendoza-Argentina-2005-$19.98-A nose of dark fruit and some spice, dark amber in color. A smooth, easy drinking Malbec, maybe a bit past it’s prime, very food friendly. NR CR-3.5-4 Good with chicken, pork, pasta.
Bergevin Lane Vineyards-Cabernet Sauvignon-Columbia Valley-Washington State-2005-$20.99-A nose of dark fruit and spice, very dark in color. A smooth, pleasant Cab, cherry, black currants, blackberry, sweet spices. The third time I have tried this wine in the past year, consistent each time. WS-90 RP-89 CR-4-4.5 Good with chicken, meats, pasta.

Seleccion de Torres-Celeste-Red Blend-Ribera del Duero-Spain-2006-$11.98-A nose of dark fruit, dark purple in color. A balanced full bodied red, black cherry, plum, tea, a very good value. Very cool label. WS-89 WE-91 CR-4 Good with chicken, ribs, pasta.
Fincas Don Martino-Martino-Old Vine-Malbec-Mendoza-Argentina-2004-$13.99-A meaty jammy nose of dark fruit, almost black in color. A smooth good value Malbec, berry, plum and roasted vanilla, have tried three or fours times over the past year with same results. WS-84 WE-88 CR-4 Good with steak, burgers, pasta.

Sequana Vineyards-Sarmento Vineyard-Pinot Noir-Santa Lucia Highlands-California-2007-$25.99-A silky nose of cherries, cola with a perfect classic Pinot Noir color where you can see your fingers on the glass threw the wine. Cherries, plum, cola with nice acidity, a very good Pinot, delicious. WS-92 WE-88 CR-4.5 Good with seafood, chicken, salads, cheese.
Domaine Vistalba-Trilogie-Lujan de Cuyo-Malbec-Merlot-Cabernet Sauvignon-Mendoza-Argentina-2007-$8.99-A nose of dark fruit, dark in color. A pleasant easy drinking red, currants, spice and decent mouth feel for a inexpensive wine. NR CR-3.5 Good with chicken, cheese, pasta.

R Wines-Marquis-Philips-Sarah’s Blend-Mclaren Vale-Australia-2008-$11.99-A nose of spice and dark fruits, Smooth, blackberry, blueberry, spice box, a good enjoyable wine, great value. I can’t think of a Marquis-Philips wine that I have not enjoyed, and usually great values. RP-91 CR-4-4.5 Good with pasta, chicken, meats.
Lagarde-Atlas Cumbres-Cabernet Sauvignon-Mendoza-Argentina-2008-$5.99-A nose of dark fruit, dark in color. A pleasant, smooth Cab, dark fruits, some spice, a great mid week drinking wine, a good value for it’s price. NR CR-3.5-4 Good with steak, pasta, chicken.

A smooth red, plum, black cherry, blueberry, chocolate and spice, a very good classy red, had last year with same results. RP-90+ CR-4.5 Good with pasta, meats, chicken.
Bodegas Nieto Senetiner-Bonarda-Reserva-Limited Edition-Mendoza-Argentina-2007-$17.99-A interesting nose of dark fruit and smoke, dark in color. A dense, ripe red, blueberry, plum, cocoa, has good length. RP-90 WS-87 CR-4 Good with steak, chicken, pork.
