Jasci Donatello-Montepulciano D’Abruzzo-Italy-2009-$10.00-A funky nose, not much fruit, dark amber in color.  A medium bodied red, not much fruit to describe,  thin volume, poor effort, have with food if you buy it.               NR                CR-78               Good with any food that will improve this wine’s lack of taste.    

Marchesi Di Barolo-Antiche Cantine-Barolo-Nebbiolo-Italy-2005-$45.00-A nose of some funk and sweet raspberries, dark garnet in color.   A full bodied Barolo, with raspberries,  cedar and spice, good food wine.               WS-91                 CR-89                    Good with meats, chicken, pasta.

Trentadue Winery-La Storia-Cuvee 32-Sangiovese-Merlot-Montepulciano- Malbec- Petite Sirah-Syrah-Alexander Valley-Sonoma County-California-2009-$17.99-A nose of heat and dark fruit fruits, dark garnet in color.  A full bodied kitchen sink blend that was austere and had too much heat that overcame the dark fruit, maybe I drank it too early, not enough decanting..off bottle, had enjoyed a previous vintage much more.   Nice labeled bottle.                   NR               CR-84                  Was good as cooking wine.

Caiarossa-Merlot-Sangiovese-Cabernet Sauvignon-Cabernet Franc-Syrah-Mourvedre-Petit Verdot-Grenache-Toscana-Italy-2004-$28.00-A nose of dark fruit and spices, dark amber in color. A full bodied kitchen sink Super Tuscan blend with blackberry, blueberry, tar, licorice, a solid drinking wine, needs a long few hour decant, still has some years left if stored properly.                 WS-92             WE-92          CR-91            Good with meats, chicken, pasta.

Robert Biale Vineyards-Syrah-Kiger Family Vineyards-Sonoma Valley-California-2007-$58.00-A nose of dark fruit and spice, dark purple in color.  A full bodied and dense Syrah, with black currants, black cherries, licorice and herbs, a bit chunky but very good.               NR                CR-90                 Good with steak, chicken, pasta.
