PRE-RELEASE ON THE 2020 ENOW GRENACHE/MOURVEDRE
(my first ever wine from Paso Robles)
For many of us, 2020 pushed us to our limits – to the point that we were forced to scream, “Enough!” With my usual Pinot Noir grapes ruined due to smoke, my way of screaming at the top of my lungs was to produce this small-lot wine, ENOW!
2020 was more than enough for all of us. And yet, through our bonds with loved ones and friends, we have persevered. This wine is a testament to that perseverance; to the belief that we are better and stronger when united, for the strength we possess within ourselves is truly ENOW.
Wine Writer Jeb Dunnuck tasted the 2020 ENOW from barrel and said this, "The 2020 Grenache-Mourvèdre comes from the Templeton region of Paso Robles and is 87% Grenache and 13% Mourvèdre that was co-fermented. It has a spicy, smoky, peppery style as well as medium body, a silky, elegant texture, and all-around beautiful balance. It just screams Grenache and is incredibly well done."

BOLD BEAU MARCHAIS FOR A COLD WINTER’S NIGHT
While the Clarice Pinots strike me as a super pairing for your Holiday meal, the bigger Beau Marchais Pinot Noirs seem ideal for a cold winter’s night. These wines are crafted by master French winemaker, Philippe Cambie, and are made in a style reminiscent of a cross between California Pinot Noir and Chateauneuf-du-Pape. Wine writers have gone gaga for these wines with ratings from 93 to 97 Points and with one wine even being named the Robb Report Pinot Noir of the Year!
