Yates Family Vineyard-Sisters-Mount Veeder-Napa Valley-California-2010-14.6% Alcohol-$46.00-A nose of dark fruit and some spice, dark garnet in color.  A medium to full bodied red blend, not quite sure varieties but would guess Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and maybe Cabernet Franc. Was much better than when tried last year, blackberry, blueberry, with spice on finish, very good.           NR           CR-90           Good with meats, chicken, pasta.          One Cork Bonus.

 

Fulcrum Wines-On Point-Pinot Noir-Chalone Appellation-Monterey-California-2010-14.0% Alcohol-$19.99-A nose of cherry and spice, medium garnet in color.   A medium to full bodied multi vineyard blend with cherry, raspberry, cola and spice on finish, drinking good now, a good value.  Interesting label design.           NR          CR-89           Good with seafood, cheeses, salads.
