Miner-Napa Valley-California-Chardonnay-2005-$30.00-Crisp nose,

good color, acidity, a good Chard that probably would of been even better 6

months earlier.  I like a quality wine to age some, but with white wine it’s a

game that has a fine line..have to keep reminding myself to drink them a

little younger when the fruit is at it’s peak.     NR    CR3.5     Good with

seafood, salads, pasta.

Michael and David Phillips-Earthquake-Lodi-California-Zinfandel-

2005-$25.00-Back of the bottle says WOW!, if you like a full throttle, big, fruit

bomb that explodes like a Earthquake then this wine is for you.  A very good

Zin, one of my favorites of this varietal, not a Old World earthy wine, this

wine’s nose explodes in your nose and the taste follows.  One of my favorite

Zinfandels, well worth the price.     NR     CR4.5     Good with pasta,

chicken, meat.
