Monte Rio Cellars-Syrah-North Coast-California-2016-12.7% Alcohol-$29.99-A muted nose with little fruit, dark garnet in color.  A medium to full bodied red, with fruit being restrained, not sure if too young to drink or just not a good wine, pretty austere, really low alcohol level for this varietal. Usually enjoy any wine from Pax Mahle, interesting label.          NR          CR-82          Good maybe a few years from now or not.     

Bollina S.r.L.-CorteMedicea-Aristeo-Sangiovese-Canaiolo-Cabernet Sauvignon-Merlot-Toscana-Italy-2015-14.0% Alcohol-$19.99-A nose of some dark fruit and spice, dark garnet in color.  A medium to full bodied red blend, with black cherry, plum, some chocolate and spice on finish.          NR          CR-88          Good with meats, chicken, pasta.
