Linne Calodo Cellars-Leona’s-Zinfandel-Mourvedre-Alicante-Syrah-Paso Robles-California-2006-$45.00-A nose of dark fruit and spice, dark purple in color. A big wine, full bodied, raspberry, black cherry, liquor like, Rhone style, decant, 15.9% alcohol makes it a little hot but the levels of flavor keep it together. I visited Linne Calodo a few years back, they are making some of the best Zin and Rhone style blends in the world. RP-91 CR-4.5 Good with steak, chicken, pasta.
