Melanson Vineyards-Stone’s Throw Block-Chardonnay-Napa Valley-California-2007-$30.00-A nose of citrus and spice, bright yellow in color.   A full bodied Chard, lemon zest, orange peel with toasty oak,  seemed a little hot, but a solid wine.           NR              CR-4             Good with seafood, cheeses, salads. 

Parcel 41 Wine Co.-Merlot-Napa Valley-California-2006-$12.99-A ripe nose of dark fruit and spice, dark amber in color.   Blackberry, black currants,  spice and some cocoa, a smooth enjoyable wine, a very good value.              NR            CR-4             Good with burgers, chicken, pasta.
