Chateau de Beaucastel-Chateauneuf-Du-Pape-Rhone-France-1989-$35.00 (Release price)-A big disappointment on the first sniff, funk, combo of mold and maybe wine was corked.  Did not taste, smelled too nasty.  This vintage was the highest rated ever for this winery so I was looking forward to tasting it…               RP-97                WS-97 (#1 WS Top 100 1991)           CR-NR                Good with watching a great bottle get poured down the drain.
