The Maiden-Napa Valley-Red Table Wine-California-2000-$95.00-A nose of currants and spice, dark amber in color.    A smooth, elegant full bodied red.  Black currants, blackberry, cassis, licorice, a wine that is at or right past it’s peak but still delicious.                RP-89               WS-92            CR-90                  Good with meats, chicken, pasta.

Casa Lapostolle-Cuvee Alexandre-Atalayas Vineyards-Chardonnay-Casablanca Valley-Chile-2007-$17.99-A nose of buttery pear, golden yellow in color.   A medium to full bodied white, smooth, crisp, pear, butterscotch, apple,  with a toasty buttery finish.   This wine is good year after year.                    WS-91                  WE-90                CR-90                 Good with seafood, cheese, salads.
