St. Francis Winery-Amann Vineyard-Old Vine Zinfandel-Dry Creek Valley-California-2005-$35.00-A nose of dark cherry and spice, dark purple in color.   A full bodied Zin, maybe this was an off bottle since the last time I had it was a memorable experience.  Black cherry, blackberry, some spice, just not as jammy as the last bottle, a disappointment.                    NR                  CR-85                  Good with ribs, chicken, pasta.

Schild Estate-Shiraz-Barossa-Australia-2008-$16.65-A nose of dark fruit and spice, dark black in color.  A smooth, full bodied red, with plums, cherries, licorice and rich spices, with a good finish, still a young wine.                    RP-87                 WS-94  (#7 Top 100 of 2010)                  CR-90                   Good with meats, chicken, pasta.
