Ken Wright Cellars-Pinot Noir-Shea Vineyard-Yamhill-Carlton District-Oregon-2005-$45.00-A nose of dusty cherry and spice, medium cloudy ruby in color.  A smooth, now elegant, medium to full bodied, was too tight a couple years back.  Has cherry, black raspberry,  cinnamon and earthy dusty herbs, very good but has lost some of it’s backbone, decant and drink soon.                  RP-94                   WE-89                     CR-90                    Good with seafood, chicken, pasta.

Bodega Norton S.A.-Malbec-Reserva-Mendoza-Argentina-2007-$12.99-A nose of dark fruit and fig, dark purple in color.  A  spicy Malbec, with fig, raspberry, blackberry jam,  seems more Pinot Noir like than Malbec,  decent not great, ok for price, has been better in previous years.                    RP-89                    WS-90 (#90 of Top 100 for 2010)                  WE-85                       CR-87                  Good with meats, chicken, pasta.
