Linne Calodo Cellars-Rising Tides-Syrah-Grenache-Mourvedre-Paso Robles-California-2007-$52.00-A nose of blackberry, cassis and spice, dark black in color.  A smooth, full bodied Rhone blend, with blackberry, cherries and plum with layers of flavors  and a very long spice box finish, another great wine from Linne Calodo.                    RP-93                  WS-93                  CR-93               Good with meats, chicken, pasta.

Glaetzer Wines-Ben Glaetzer-Wallace-Shiraz-Grenache-Barossa Valley-Australia-2006-$16.99-A nose of dark fruit and some heat, dark purple in color.  A full bodied but disjointed blend, was not as good as the last time I tried.  Has black cherry,  blueberry, cedar and pepper, just was not smooth, disappointed as I enjoy Glaetzer’s wines.                     RP-91-94                   WS-88                    WE-90                     CR-86                          Good with ribs, chicken, pasta.
