St. Francis Winery & Vineyard-Pagani Vineyard-Old Vine Zinfandel-Sonoma Valley-California-2006-$19.59-A nose of cherry and spice, dark garnet in color.  A medium to full bodied Zin, with blackberry and cherry, not jammy and somewhat rustic and chunky, have had better Zin from St. Francis.                NR                CR-86               Good with ribs, chicken, pasta.

Chad Wine Company-Chardonnay-Napa Valley-California-2009-$16.00-A nose of crisp citrus and acidity, nice yellow in color.  A  medium to full bodied Chard, with citrus, apple, a little creamy vanilla, good acidity, a bit hot but a very good QPR.    Chad provides good value Cab, Merlot, Chard and Pinot’s, pretty consistent each year.            NR                CR-88                      Good with seafood, chicken, cheeses.
