XYZin Winery-Zinfandel-100 Year Old Vines-Vine Age Series-Dry Creek Valley-California-2007-$11.99-A nose of black cherry and spice, dark garnet in color.  A full bodied Zin,  found it a bit tannic, with black and red fruits,  licorice,  and pepper spice.  Was disappointed considering the hype of 100 year old vines vs. this wineries 50 and 10 year old versions, got it on clearance.                 WE-92              CR-86                 Good with ribs, chicken, pasta.         

Marimar Estate –Torres Family Vineyards-Pinot Noir-Doria Margarita Vineyard-Mas Cavalls-Sonoma Coast-California-2006-$19.99-A nose of dusty black cherry, medium ruby in color.  A medium to full bodied Pinot, with black cherries, black raspberries, mineral and dusty spice finish.  A bit past peak but was very  good for the clearance price, not sure what WE drank.                 WS-87               WE-94                CR-89                      Good with seafood, cheeses, salads.
