Michael & David Philips-Petite Petite-Petite Sirah-Petite Verdot-Lodi-California-2009-14.5% Alcohol-$14.97-A nose of jammy dark fruits and spice, dark black purple in color.  A full bodied red blend, with black cherry, black berries, roasted candied meat, with a spice finish, not for the faint hearted, cool label.                WE-85                CR-87              Good with meats, chicken, pasta.

Artesa Winery-Chardonnay-Carneros-Napa Valley-California-2010-14.3% Alcohol-$15.99-A nose of tart citrus, medium straw in color.  A medium bodied Chard, with tropical fruits and tart citrus oils and spice,  way too tart, became cooking wine, not sure what WE was tasting.                  WS-86                 WE-92                  Good as cooking wine.
