Ravenswood Winery-Zinfandel-Belloni Vineyard-Russian River Valley-California-2007-13.9% Alcohol-$23.51-A nose of muted dark cherry and spice, dark garnet in color.  A full bodied single vineyard Zin with blueberry, raspberry,  spices and pepper on finish, expected a bit more than I got.              WS-88               CR-87                 Good with meats, chicken, pasta.

LaFormica-Amarone Della Valpolicella-Italy-2008-16.5% Alcohol-$39.98-A nose of sweet black cherry and spice, dark blackish in color.    A full bodied Amarone with dark ripe berry and black cherry fruit with hints of tobacco, and come raisin, very good.              WS-90              CR-90                  Good with meats, chicken, pasta.
