Switchback Ridge-Merlot-Peterson Family Vineyard-Napa Valley-California-2005-14.8% Alcohol-Magnum-$102.56-A nose of dark fruits and spice, dark black garnet in color.  A full bodied Merlot, with blackberry, black cherry, cocoa, and Asian spices on finish, decanted for a couple hours and was still a baby since this was a Magnum.  Wine evolved as it opened, was delicious, had it for my son’s college graduation.                  RP-93               WS-91               CR-93                Good with steak, chicken, pasta.
