Chateau Ste Michelle Vineyards-Indian Wells-Chardonnay-Columbia
Valley-Washington-2007-$15.99-A crisp nose of citrus and toast, medium
yellow color. A pleasant mix of spice, toast, pineapple, pear, nice acidity, just
right amount of oak, a good Chard. RP-88 WS-88 CR-4-4.5
Good with seafood, chicken, salads.
Cambria Winery-Julia’s Vineyard-Pinot Noir-Santa Maria Valley-
California-2006-$17.99-A nose of spice and cherries, a little dark for a
Pinot. At first a enjoyable Pinot, medium in weight, cherries, a little spice.
Second glass wine got tired, a little sour, it’s so hard to find a good Pinot
Noir under $25. Somehow I missed what the critic tasted. WE-93
(WE #1 Wine of 2009) CR-3.5 Good with duck, veal, pork.
